Chrome Plating
Finding a reliable an reasonably priced business to refinish your chrome plating can be challenging. If it's large pieces like bumpers, shipping can be expensive and a hassle.
There is a local chrome plating facility which Danny Barnett and Fosco Picchi have used recently. Both of us are pleased with the results. (though they took longer than they estimated to complete the work)

- VAPOR LOCK. Dave Thibeault is a Studebaker parts supplier in Massachusetts who offers products and solutions to optimize your cars performance. He specializes in high performance parts for R-Series engines. I recently purchased an intake manifold from him that had the exhaust crossover sealed to reduce heat passing under the carburetor. This eliminated the problem I was having with vapor lock on my '63 Gran Turismo. Dave's a very helpful guy and his prices are quite reasonable.
